Kate Hudson and Matthew Bellamy named their son Bingham! The little one, who was born on Saturday night, will be called Bingham Hawn Bellamy or Bing for short.

I like Matthew Bellamy's music. His taste in names...not so much. Bing might be cute on a baby, but I absolutely cannot imagine it on even a teenager, much less an adult. Also, I think of the search engine.

I know, I know. I almsot commented on my own statement to correct it somewhat because when I first saw the nickname, I thought of Bing Crosby immediately, but then, when I was thinking about the name and actually typing, I couldn't picture it on an adult; Crosby flew straight out of my mind. I guess he's the exception? I don't know. I had a feeling I should have edited it or something. I knew someone would call me on it.

I'm pretty sure Bing was Crosby's nn though. I think his real name was Harry. White Christmas is still one of my favorite movies (year round lol)

I have no problem with Bing.. Bing Crosby is one of my favorite singer/actors. Bingham is very Austenesque to me for some reason. :)

Bingham was okay until I read they were going to call him Bing. That's kind of silly, discounting the Bing Crosby connection. Plus, with Bing Bellamy...that's just a bit much.
