So I'm due in October with a boy. A lot of people are iffy about the name I chose, what do you think?

Really? People respond really weird to hypothetical names, but change their tunes once a live baby with that name is here. That's why a lot of people don't say the baby's name until it's born.

I like Henry a lot, but I'm not a fan of Parker, and certainly not together.

Henry is a beautiful name and I'm really surprised that people are not liking it. Where's do you live? It's fairly common in the States so I'm assuming people like the name. If my next child is a boy, we will most likely name him Henri. I live in French Canada where it isn't that common and is regarded as an old man's name so I don't know how people will react but I really don't care.:)

Oh and LOVE Parker and both names go well together.:)

My friend just had a baby a few months ago named Henry and their surname is Parker, so it sounds perfectly fine to me!!

I think it's fine. People who don't know anything about current naming trends might see Henry as too old-fashioned, but it's in the top 100 right now!

I'm not a fan of Henry, but that's just a personal taste issue. I think Henry Parker looks and sounds great, and it's a solid name.

I think Henry is okay, but I don't care for Parker. I'm surprised that you're getting a strange reaction to Henry - it's becoming super popular in my area at least. I know 4 Henry's under 3 in real life and a handful more in that age range from various places online.

I like it! Henry's one of my favorite names, and it works well with Parker. I say go for it!

I LOVE Henry. Parker is nms, but they flow nicely together:) old fashioned names have made a comeback so he's not going to be outcast or something because of it!
