Tessalina sounds like some kind of math superhero - "tessellate" and all that.

Depends on how you'd want it pronounced. I prefer Kira for Ciara/Keira and Kyra for "kai-rah."

Kira.

And Tessalena is actually a name that has occurred to me before, only if I decided to open up a restaurant which is a dream of mine. Tess is my paternal grandmother's name (also my middle name) and Lena is my maternal grandmother's name.

Kira for the pronunciation "keera"
Kyra for the pronunciation "k-eye-ra" (as in, the word "eye" is the vowel sound)

I like Tessa. Tessalina sounds like ... a mouse in a children's book or something. De trop -- it's too much!

Tessalina sounds made up and silly.

I spell it Kira.

It reminds me of tesselations that we used to play with in elementary school.

I pronounce Kira and Kyra differently.

Too cutesy. Tessa is nice. The -lina doesn't add a thing but fluff.

I say Kira KEER-uh and Kyra KYE-ra.

I love Kira, but my neighbor suggested spelling it Keara ...hmm\

I agree that Kyra would be pronouced with a "eye" sound rather than "ee" sound
