What do you think of the name Seren (pron. SEH-run)? I recently met a girl with that name of my age (nineteen). The name used to strike indifference but now is growing on me. What is everyone's opinions on this name? (I don't know if she has a middle name btw)

I prefer Serene (Seh-REEN).

I can't put my finger on what bothers me about Seren - maybe it sounds too similar to Sarah and Karen?

Funnily enough, when she verifies that her name is not Sarah, she says it's like seven with an r, while I think of it like serene without the e. XD

I used to work with a girl named Seyran prn. SEH-rahn. I'd never use it myself, but I like it a lot. Probably because it reminds me of "serene," and I like that quality, lol.
