i have a friend named Megan who is a part of a triplet set.
her sister's names are Mandy and Molly.

they are 22yrs old.
Mandy and Molly are identical.
Megan is fraternal.
Mandy and Molly are both brunettes and slim.
Megan is redheaded with freckles and a lil on the heavier side.

anyway. i thought it was interesting and i'd share with ya'll :)

I don't hate the set. I know three sisters named Melissa, Megan and Mandy. But they are not triplets.

They're not bad - I quite like Megan, Molly is nice too and Mandy is ok (though I prefer Amanda). Though I confess I do find it annoying that people generally have this compulsion to alliterate siblings' names, especially multiple-birth siblings. It's like their names have to be twins as well.

I really dislike names that sound like, or are, nicknames, yuck.
Also, do you think it was on purpose that the identical twins got more matchy names than the other twin? Way to make her feel like the odd-one-out, I suppose.

Not to mention the freckly redhead. I'm a fat freckly redhead (and hey, my siblings are thin brunettes!) and I love myself now, but these looks came with a lot of growing pains.

Eh, it's cute, but so boring! I guess it didn't seem so boring to the parents 20 years ago.

I'd love to have girl triplets. :) My husband and I have more absolute favorite girls' names than we'll likely have children!
