How could you possibly mess THAT up...? oh... oooh

Okay so.. I always thought there were names that were real difficult to mess up... and yet people have this silly way of amazing me. So I leave you with the way these 'normal' names have been ruined by 'creative' people.

Isaac turned to Izek

Monica turned to Manaca

Daniel turned to D'niel.

Of course there are worse ones out there but I'm so used to seeing Olivia spelled wrong that these just shocked me because it's rare to see them spelled anything other than what they TEND to be.

D'niel? What the shit?

I met a girl named Cera when I was in third grade and from that time until I was probably 13 I wished my named was spelled that way. Haha.

To be honest, I still think it's kind of neat. But I definitely think Sarah (or even Sara) is the best way to spell it.

Cera is the triceratops name from Land Before Time :)

Haha, mte. In that light it's kind of cool.

Cera is the italian word for wax, just for kicks.

I'm going to seriously puke on Manaca. It sounds like someone with a really bad cold, it makes me think of that episode of Friends where Ross keeps calling "Monica! Monica! Monica!" with his hard-core nasal voice.

My personal favorite is Demon. Its pronounced d'mahn. I say no, you're a demon...and check them for tails and horns.

I saw a college basketball player on TV once whose name was Gino. Only, it was spelled Gyno. Erm.

OK PEOPLE! ONE MORE TIME! YOU CANNOT CHANGE THE SPELLING OF A NAME (or any word, for that matter) AND EXPECT IT TO SOUND THE SAME AS THE ORIGINAL!!!!

Izek = Eye-ZEK
Manaca = MAN-ah-cah
D'Niel = Dee-NILE

Sheesh! Why is this such a hard concept to master, all you trendy moms and dads out there?!?
