Mazelon (pronounced maze-lyn) was a last name used on an Law & Order: SVU episode this season. i think it's really pretty sounding, and i'm almost tempted to say i wouldn't mind it for a girl but spelled differently. maybe like "Maizelyn" or something, idk. wat do ya'll think?

EDIT: i just did a search on the name "Maizelyn". i actually found girls with it as a first name. huh.


i was reading a poster at pizza hut the other day where kids had signed their names on it (it was something about a reading program, idk) and one of the children had signed her name as "Faythe" i don't like it..

I don't know they get "maze-lyn" from Mazelon. I want to pronounce it like "Maze-eh-lon."

Mazelon makes me think of "mazelen", which is the Dutch word for the measles. So... no.

I agree that it sounds like corn and also is awful. Sorry...but seriously, don't do that too a kid. Cool last name but as a first name...It's just terrible. :(
