May. 24th, 2011 12:08 pmA boy, probably a little younger than 10, came into my work over the weekend, and his name is Crewe. WDYT?
Also, WDYT of Tamsin/Tamzin (g)? I used to hate it, but after hearing it repeatedly on Tamsin Egerton and Tamzin Merchant, I think I'm falling for it. It's a diminutive form of Thomasina, if anybody was wondering.

Date: 2011-05-24 04:57 pm (UTC)But I've always sort of liked Tamsin, there was a Tamsin a few years ahead of me in school.

Date: 2011-05-24 06:49 pm (UTC)Tamsin is sort of cute. I've seen it used as a regular name, but I'd most likely use Thomasina (which I do like) and then Tamsin for the nickname.

Date: 2011-05-25 05:35 am (UTC)I like Tamsin, but not Tamzin. The first place I saw this name was in a fantasy series I read where people were named after 'saints'. Tamsin (as well as Tamsa, Tama, and Tamasin) are variations on Tamas, in the book. Out of all of those I like Tamsa the best.

Crewe...meh. In a world of youneek names, it's not the worst, but I'd never use it.
