How do you figure Savannah is "classic"? Seems pretty recent and trendy to me. Sure, Hannah is popular, but it's the more classic name of the two, and has staying power, I think.

In the last 20 years, Savannah has never been lower than #205 in the SSA rankings. Hannah has never been lower than #82, so I'd say they're both sticking around for a while, there are just fewer Savannah's than Hannah's.

Savannah has been around forever. Being around forever = classic. I realize Hannah has also been around for a long time, but I personally wouldn't use it because it's SO popular right now. It's not trendy in the same way Makayla and Madison are, but right now it IS trendy to name your daughter Hannah, whether it's a classic name or not.
