I just had to share this:
http://www.cnn.com/2011/TECH/social.media/05/16/baby.like.name.mashable/index.html?hpt=T2

First there was baby "Facebook" and now this: An Israeli couple has named their kid "Like."

Wow.

Like is actually a name here in Hawaii. My coworker's name is Likeke (lee-keh-keh) which means Richard, but we call him Like (lee-keh) or KeKe (Keh-keh).

tbh if I met someone with that name from Israel I'd probably think it was a normal name there or something, kind of like with Bar. It's not as obviously a word turned into a name as some word names are.

I was interested to see that Brooklyn was considered as strange as Like or Facebook. I don't see why/how... Just funny to me since that's our top choice for a girl. It's not because we like the city, but because my middle name is Brooke and her grandmothers' middle names are all Lynn.

I actually...almost like it, no pun intended. It could be so much worse - and honestly, I kind of liked Facebook too, just because of the sentiment behind it, although I think Twitter would have been cuter. Lior and Vardit are nice, too.
