There's a series (Justified) with Timothy Olyphant where he plays an officer named Raylan Givens or something and I always wondered if it would get popular. Sounds like a perfect mix of trendy and ugly to make it popular now-a-days.

I like Hope, for non-religious reasons.

Any name before a noun (Hope) sounds like an adjective to me. So this name sounds like "railing hope" but pronounced with a southern accent. "She doesn't have a railin' hope in the world of people ever pronouncin' her name properly."

=) I'm glad. I agree, every parent/child we harshly judge on here for names, likely has lovely children with fantastically creative personalities. Which is why their names don't have to loudly assert for them "I AM AN INDIVIDUAL!"
