Saw in a seventeen magazine: Aerial

Heard in the library (the girl was 3-4): Lumina

I think they're both awful. Aerial because people are going to think Ariel and it's just silly/stupid. Lumina sounds kind of nice but it's a model of car.

I was thinking the same thing about Lumina, at first it sounded pretty then I recognized it as a car and then I didn't really like it all that much!

Lumina makes me laugh, because when the car first came out and there weren't many on the road, my mum kept seeing them but myself and the rest of my family never did, so she began to think she was seeing things. Therefore, it's a bit of a running joke in my family and there's no way I could take it seriously as a name.

Aerial would've been okay if it were spelt Ariel.

i hate Aerial spelled correctly. you might as well name her Aurora or Cinderella or Snow White. :)
