Except that I'm not racist. But that's fine. :) You can all berate me for being a stereotypical, insensitive, offensive racist and not worry about making judgments about me that are inaccurate.
It's the internet, folks. Not everything is mean to be taken seriously. It's clearly hard for you to understand, but some things are simply done in jest and not out of hatred. Either way, none of you know me, you're just jumping the gun on one thing you saw that you didn't like a chose to run with. Couldn't matter less to me. :)
1) If you find this video funny, that's racist, because the video relies on racist stereotypes to be funny. Racism isn't just riding on horses in white hoods. It's more subtle things, like making jokes about black people and insinuating that they are unintelligent when they name their children.
2) It being the Internet does not make this not racist, or anything not racist. There are real people behind every one of these screen names and real people made that YouTube video. Something that is offensive when said out loud or written in a book does not cease to be offensive just because someone decides to make a webpage about it.
3) Jokes can be done out of hatred. There are 400 years' worth (probably more) of racial jokes that are meant to be funny but also meant to carry racial hatred and a sense of putting ethnic minority groups in their place. Jest and hatred are not mutually exclusive.
4) Of course we don't know you, so all we have is the things you say on the Internet to judge you by. If you say that you are a wonderful painter but all you post of your own work is stick figures...how are we supposed to judge that you aren't racist if you say racist shit like "this video is hilarious"?
