I just finished reading a book and the main characters were named Dillon (m) and Laine (f).
Thoughts on those names?
I have a young (8 or so) relative named Dillon so I've been pondering whether I like it or not (or better than Dylan) for awhile now and I just can't decide. I like it, but it also makes me think of the spice (Dill).
I think I like Laine, but as a middle name if at all. I'm really not sure though.

I know a couple with the last name Layne so that may be why I can't quite love it for a first name.

I like the name Laine but I like Lainey or Laynie much better. My cousin's name is Stephanie Layne, and she's always gone by Layne. I think I like that spelling better, too.
Which book was it, btw? :)

I've always loved the name Lane/Laine... I think because I used to love the show Daria.. (Jane Lane, Trent Lane.. yeah lol)

Laine has a whiny sound that I don't like at all.

If we had a girl, Cameron ( my bf) wanted her middle name to be Lane, after his moms sister, who was murdered by her husband ... >_

Laine is pretty but it makes me think of Layne Staley.
