Sorry I don't do this with any regularity. Its fun to compile the names and see the results, but i usually only think to do it when I'm bored.

(Drumroll....) the top names this time were: Henry (9 votes) and Charlotte (8 votes)!

9 votes: HENRY

PAST YEARS

In 10/2007, the top names were Alexander (8), Oliver (8), James (7), William (7), Elizabeth (9), Audrey (5) and Eleanor (5).

In 03/2008, the top names were Elliot (9), Oliver (8), Alexander (6), James (6), Charlotte (9), Amelia (5) and Catherine (5). Elliot, especially spelled like that, basically came out of nowhere. It hasn't been that popular since.

In 09/2008, the top names were Benjamin (9), Gabriel (7), Nathaniel (7), Harper (6), Catherine (5), Charlotte (5) and Juliet (5). Where did Harper come from??

In 07/2009, the top names were Alexander (6), Henry (6), James (5), Julian (5), Oliver (5), Elizabeth (5), Ruby (5), Alice (4), Katherine (4) and Sophia (4).

In 5/2010, the top names were Alexander (14!), James, Oliver and William (all 9), Charlotte (9), Lily (7), Alice and Margaret (6)

I'd say our name taste is pretty consistent, especially with boys. There is always one or two randoms though.

Weird that Charlotte is so popular throughout the years, I've never seen anybody actually name their baby that, in real life and on LJ.

Weird, I don't like the top three names for either sex. And I generally love the advice this community gives!

(I do like several of the 2 vote names, though.)

I don't know a Charlotte in real life, but I know several small Henrys. Librarians have a theory that other librarians name their sons Henry. So far it seems to be true. ;)

I never realized that Alexander was such a biggie here! That's interesting.

These things always amuse me, because depending on the amount of activity in the comm at the time, the results can be drastically different each time or totally the name.
