I wonder how people would be inclined to pronounce it on first reading it. I quite like it as an alternative spelling to Myra, but also worry it looks like I'm trying too hard to be creative with the spelling.

My first instinct would be mie-rah (myra), but then I'd probably second-guess myself and say mee-rah.

I would say Meer-ah, but I have a professor named Mirah that pronounces it Myra. It always throws me a little bit, because I want to call her Mira. :)
