My husband and I are having a hard time finding a name for our baby girl.

Our favorites are:
Daphne
Fiona
Cecily
Madeline
Phoebe

We also really like Olivia, but it's soooo popular right now (we're trying to avoid using really popular names).

Can you all help out with similar name suggestions? Middle name is Dee-Marie.

I like Phoebe Dee-Marie the best. Fiona Dee-Marie is a close second though.

I think Daphne Dee-Marie is too much D sound in a row.

Cecily I find hard to say, but I kind of do like the flow of Cecily Dee-Marie.

Madeline is also very popular, and I'd probably avoid it if you are avoiding Olivia.

I like Cecily best, but I think Cecily Dee-Marie is too much -ie. Same goes for Daphne and Phoebe. Then again, how often will she have to say her entire name out loud? =)

Suggestions:
Coraline
Sophie (-ie again...but it's a nice name!)
Norah
Anya
Evelyn
Juliet
Elza
Sylvia
Lillian
Elodie
Miriam
Rosalie
Maya
Tessa
Thalia
Haven

Good luck!

Personally, I think Phoebe Dee-Marie sounds a little silly with all the "eee" sounds in a row. And I agree that if Olivia is too popular for you, avoid Madeline as well - remember that the social security rankings don't count alternate spellings together, and there are a few of those for Madeline so it's more popular than it looks, plus it's very similar to the top ten Madison.

Olive is a less-popular alternative if you really love Olivia. There's also Cecilia instead of Cecily, which I think sounds better with the middle name.

Other ideas:
Annabelle
Vivienne
Viola (pronounced vy-la, not like the instrument)
Ada
Stella

In general, I think two-syllable names ending with an a sound work really well with that middle name.

Love Vivian! Don't know if I could spell it that way, although it is very pretty.

Cecily is one of my all time favorite names, and while I don't care for the middle name at all...Cecily is best from your list paired with it. Daphne and Fiona work well too.
