I was watching the always-awesome 'Who Do You Think You Are' this week, and it was Lionel Richie's story time. Quite the stand-out name, his great-grandmother's (I believe, I may be getting it confused with his grandmother) name was Volenderver.

Google is not helping with anything; almost all the results are about Lionel Richie. Has anybody ever heard this anywhere else? What do you think? Will this classic name make a comeback?

When they kept saying it, I couldn't understand it. And then they showed it on the family tree and I was like, whoa.

I had to sound that one out to myself before I could say it through. My first thought was, maybe a family maiden name? And imagine calling someone that full name every time. The only nicknames that are occurring to me are Volly and Vol.

Also, gonna take the opportunity to give you some icon looooooooove.
