Tristan is okay, but I would never use it because of the latin association with "sad." Sophia is very pretty. Achilles is first and foremost going to have one hell of a time living up to his name and second of all going to have to face constant ridicule unfunny jokes about his heal.

I always wonder (because I love distinctive Greek mythology names): when you pick a name as strong and distinct as Achilles, do you keep the theme for the rest of the kids, and overload the matchy-matchy, or do you leave it be and let it stick out like a sore thumb?

Maybe it's just this sibset, but it doesn't go well. I think it could go well with something else, though.

Very odd sibset. Tristan is a nice name. Sophia is, as well, but soooo overused. And then there's Achilles.

I was with you until Achilles... Seriously, I love Tristan and Sophia, and Achilles goes with them in the sense that they've all got that ancient-mythology feel. But Achilles is a) not an attractive name to me, b) way over the top in its mythological connection, c) is more like something you'd name the dog.

I love Tristan and Sophia, though!
