My husband and I are going to get a pug in a couple of months.

We are going to get a girl most likely and I think her name will be Ivy. What do you think?
If we end up getting a boy I think we'll name him Winston.
Any better suggestions?

That's a cute name :)
I used to have pugs. Kozmo was a fawn and Frodo was black. Both were boys. If I ever get another, I'm going to name it Porkulese (nick name: Porky). I like boy pugs better. They're supposed to be sweeter.

I'm not really feeling Ivy for a pug, but I do like Winston for one. ^^

I like Luna, but not for a pug. Other than that, I don't really like any of those names, though I think Poe and Gigit work.

I knew the most horrible dog called Winston, haha. He was pretty vicious and bit a couple of people! His female counterpart was Lulu.

I like: Diego, Luna (a Diego Luna fan, haha), Hank (Hank the Tank sounds like a pug nickname to me!), Poppy for a girl, Bruno, Rocco, Nala.

Congrats on the pup-to-be! :) Ivy is one of my favorite names, but it seems weird for a pug...it's sleek and elegant sounding, where as pugs are more adorable than elegant. Winston is an awesome pug name, though! I think something like Pansy, Minnie, Eloise, or Elspeth would be really sweet girl pug names.
