Ziggy Marley and his wife Orly Agai Marley have welcomed a baby boy, Abraham Selassie Robert Nesta Marley, on Jan. 26.

They also have a 5½-year-old daughter Judah Victoria and a 4-year-old son Gideon Robert Nesta.

personally i'm not a fan of repeating middle names but i feel like i've definitely seen worse. can't decide how i feel abt. Judah for a girl.

actually... these names I like! I know of repeating middle names and sometimes where I live it's kind of a custom thing to do it with first names too. I know twins named Jesus Jaime and Jesus Enrique but neither of them go by their first names, they go by Jaime and Kike (nn for Enrique here). It may seem weird for people on the outside but actually... it's kind of a cultural thing for us (specially with catholic names).

P.S.: Jesus was their grandfather's first name too. I also know this sort of thing happens a LOT with José and María. They are almost filler names so it's not weird to have three sisters named María but they would go by their middle names which is ultimately their 'real' name. Confusing to people that haven't been around it all their lives, I know. But since here it's pretty much impossible not to have a middle name and a second last name (it's the least you can have, 4 names) then it's kinda... normal. To us it is anyway!

I like Judah, but not on a girl. I like all the other names, though.

I like Abraham and Gideon.

I'm not a fan of double middle names (especially since they only did that for one child).

Judah makes me think of Judas, which always has bad connotations for me.

Still, overall, these names are refreshingly normal, ESPECIALLY for celebrities!

I like Gideon and Robert. Judah is nice too, although I would prefer to see it on a boy.

I like Abraham, Victoria and Gideon A LOT! I do not like Judah for a girl. I also don't like the repetition of Robert.

As for first names on the boys? Awesome! Gideon and Abraham...

Five names is two too long. It amuses me that people with names like Ziggy and Orly gave their kid Abraham, which is so "classic" it's actually considered ancient and out of style. As for their other kids... I'm not sure how I feel about Judah for their girl, but I like Gideon.

Although I definitely prefer Judah on a boy, I do like the sound of Judah Victoria.

Al the other names are definitely not my style, and I think Abraham Selassie Robert Nesta is a weird jumble of names.

I really like the names... but I dont like the millions of names Abraham has. It seems excessively stupid to me.

Abraham I'm ok with, Gideon I love, and Judah I really like...on a boy. On a girl? Not so much.

I'm so bitter about robert nesta. my entire pregnancy, all I heard was "WE WILL NAME OUR BOY ROBERT NESTA? A GIRL NESTA?! YES? NESTA IS A GOOD NAME".
