My friend works in an hospital and recently cared for a newborn girl, Beyonce Rihanna, and her cousin Shakira was brought to see her.

To me, it sounds like someone trying too hard, what do you think?

I like the name Rihanna, but yes, it does sound like that. I wonder if the parents of these cousins planned this together.

I once heard of twins named Beyonce and Brandy. They were in elementary school and their teachers were talking about how they switched places for the day.

these ladies have hardly "made it" yet.

I loathe the name Beyonce. All I hear is "fiance" with a speech impediment.
It's completely made up (from her mother's maiden name).

Solange (Beyonce's sister), while also hideous and made-up sounding to me, is actually a name.

Rihanna is okay, and Shakira is too ethnic to just randomly assign to a little girl without intentionally mimicking the celebrity.

So sad.

I always thought Rhianna (spelled like this) was kinda cute. I don't like the name Beyonce at all...it looks and sounds ugly to me. Together with Rihanna and Shakira it's over the top indeed!

Yeah, I liked the name Rhianna when I was younger, before Rhianna the singer was popular. But combined with Beyonce, and a cousin named Shakira? Yeah, no.
