I have two children, Abigail and Simon. If and when we have another my hubs and I talked about names. What do you think of Sebastian? How is it with Abigail and Simon? And Annalise for a girl.
First and middle names:
Abigail Elaine
Simon Jeffrey
Sebastian John
Annalise Hazel
Thoughts?

Date: 2011-01-25 03:01 pm (UTC)All middle names are family names- Elaine after my mom, Jeffrey after hubby's dad, John is my late uncle and hazel is my nanny's middle name. I told her I wanted to name a baby after her and she said please god don't name her Phyllis ( her name is Phyllis hazel) lol!
Thanks for the feedback ;)

Date: 2011-01-25 03:57 pm (UTC)Simon was one of the front runners for me when we were naming my son. And Anneliese would have been my son's name if he was a girl. ;)
Sebastian and Annalise are great.

Date: 2011-01-26 12:24 am (UTC)Sebastian is one of my favourite boy names, but the hubby has said a very firm "No" to it years ago. Oh well.

Date: 2011-01-26 03:56 am (UTC)I do think that Sebastian John is a little choppy when said aloud (the "gen" "john" sound). Of course, that's with an American pronunciation of Sebastian. For those that pronounce it "Seb-as-tee-in", it flows well.
Overall, great current and potential sibset!

Date: 2011-01-27 08:57 am (UTC)I agree about Sebastian John. Aside from the gen/jon problem already mentioned, when I look at it on screen my brain tries to make it, "Sebastian Johann" as in Johann Sebastian Bach. Maybe I'm weird, though.
