Jul. 24th, 2006 05:06 pmSpeaking of name books, I was wondering if anyone has a copy of the New Book of Magical Names. I'm particularly wondering if it's worth having if you already have a copy of The Complete Book of Magical Names by the same author. I'm trying to decide if I should order it, but don't want to waste my money if it's basically the same thing with a new cover.
I have the latter and love it, it's a great name book. There's a lot of bizarre stuff good for laughs, but a lot of good stuff too, especially if you tend to like nature names of other more unusual names. Plus there's a lot of interesting text in it too about. It's a lot more than just lists and meanings. It's a name book you can actually read cover to cover, if you are so inclined.
If you don't have either (and aren't offended by non-Christian thought as the book is very pagan in philosophy) it's a good book to have.
