The first question is the one that's bothering me the most at the moment. All three names are currently tied in my #3 spot for girls after Julianna Lillian and Olivia Rose.

The second question is one that popped up after my last post when a few people said they didn't like the combos I had. I'm just wondering which ones sound better.

The third question is more questioning my parents' taste in names. My brother, who is 2-1/2 years older, is Michael Paul. Had I been a boy, I would have been Scott Timothy, but they couldn't decide on a girls' name. It was up between Lindsay (mom) and Erin (dad). I was almost named Erin, but Mom vetoed it when my dad's mn idea was Karen. I'm just wondering what you guys think - Erin or Lindsay? I'm kind of indifferent, actually. I wouldn't have minded Erin, and despite it's popularity, I'm not opposed to Lindsay.

For the record, I think having a rhyming name like Erin Karen would have sucked majorly.

You may have mentioned this in past entries, but I'm bad at remembering details- why do you like Eleanor and Atticus so much? (I don't mean that as hostile as it may come across) Those are unique, older names so I'm just curious.

Haha, agreed - I would have hated my dad if he'd named me ERIN KAREN. I still ask him sometimes "did you hate me or something???"

All of my middle name choices are in honor of someone in my life or someone I admire from history/whatever. For instance, Lillian is after my best friend (her mn is Lil), Rose is after another close friend (her mn), Michael (my brother's fn), and Brian (one of my closest friends' first name). Eleanor is in honor of Eleanor Roosevelt - her husband is my favorite President (haha, I'm a Poli Sci major and a hardcore Democrat) and I've always really admired her. And Atticus is after the character in To Kill a Mockingbird - one of my favorite books, and my absolute favorite character in literature.

I wondered if that's where Atticus came from. I love that book, but I couldn't give my child that name, it just seems to outdated or something to me. *shrug*

I'd never be able to do it as a first name, I don't think, but I do love it and it's not like mns are used that often. Most of the kids in my high school didn't know what mine was unless I told them, so I doubt it'll be a problem. And even if it is, it's not like kids will pick on him. It has a story and it's not like I'm naming him Francis or Jean, haha.

My kids are just lucky I'm not naming them Franklin Delano and William Jefferson ;).

I've always really liked Miranda, and I LOVE Mia (one of the main reasons I like Miranda and Amelia so much). I'm leaning towards Jordan at the moment, but it changes every so often.

I used to be worried about the ls and ns in Julianna Lillian, but I've totally fallen in love with it, and I'm completely set on using Julianna as the fn for my first daughter and Lillian as the mn. Olivia Rose is my #2 name, but I'm not 100% sure of the middle name.

I LOVE Luke Atticus more than Liam Atticus, so I picked that one--but I really don't like the Liam Brian combo. But I picked that one b/c of all the names/combos, I love Luke Atticus the best.

i like the name lindsay a lot, something about it... i dont think id actually ever use it, but dig the name anyway.

i dont like any of your girls names (in the first question) except for amelia, which i absolutely love. i also love both names - liam and luke, and dont really have an opinion on which name with which middle. atticus is a cool name though, although im not fond of the name brian at all, but its really great that it has some meaning for you. i think thats what middle names are for, but i know not everyone feels that way.

I don't like Karen, but i actually think it sounds good with Erin. Sorry, i really hate Lindsay. I don't like any of the gorls names except for Amelia, which is my favourite name anyway. I want to like Danielle because it's beautifully french, but it's kinda trailer trashy now.

I love your top two girl fns for two reasons: They automatically remind me of my top two favorite actresses, Julianna Margulies and Mariska Hargitay; and they are just plain BEAUTIFUL names. =)

LOL, I'm glad they did, because they're two of my favorite actresses, too!! Julianna isn't after Julianna Margulies, but I first heard the name when I started watching ER and it now has a lot of personal meaning to it, as well.

Luke Atticus is on my short list of boy's names! (Top five.) I'm glad someone else likes it.
