Spelling:
I like the name Liesl, however, I'm not sold on the spelling. I was thinking maybe Liesel or Leisel, but I don't know. Any ideas?

Middle Names:
I was updating my list of names I like, and I found some that I don't have any middle names I like with them, and was curious what y'all could come up with.

Personally, I would stick with Liesl, but Liesel works too. I don't like Leisel at all. It looks misspelled, and in Germany (where the name is from) it would result in an entirely different pronunciation (LYE-zel).

Most of the names you like are good, solid names. My favorites are Joseph, Cecily, Erin and Jillian.

Is it a boy's name or a girl's name? I think a pretty alternative, for a girl's name is Lisiel. I don't know where it's from, but it's in one of my favorite books.

I would stick with Liesel or Liesl. Leisel would be pronounced "Lie-zel" in German, so it doesn't really make sense.

I think it's awfully pretty though!
