(since that's a leap...Thorstein, Erik's son who was married to Gudrid, who's dad was Thorbjorn...)

i see a lack of horrible name spellyngz (with the exception of Krystyna and maybe Macaela, but that could be because they wanted to avoid the y...)
are these parents all around the same age? or do college grad not feel the need make up unique spellings?

Actually, I was going to mention this in my post but I left it out. It did in fact seem that the names got more "creative" in spelling the later the parents' graduation year was.
