Sir Elton John and David Furnish have welcomed their first son: Zachary Jackson Levon. Furnish-John is the surname. In my head, I can see everyone cringing, "two middles names, and a hyphenated last name?!"

Zachary and Jackson, I don't care for at all, but I do like Levon.

WDYT?

Too many names and too many of the names end in the ON sound. I don't really like it all together, but the individual names are ok.

I imagine they picked names to honor people they're close to, and they just happened to not flow so well.

I feel the opposite way from you. I completely dislike Levon. Jackson is a little overused, though.

Zachary Furnish-John sounds nice, but I really don't care for those mn's, especially for the repeated -on sound.

I think it's ok. I didn't know they were getting a baby?

I saw that earlier and I was actually disappointed that Elton John went with something so boring. I mean, I love Zachary, but I expected something much more creative from him. Agree with others that Jackson is overused. Not at all a fan of Levon. But I also agree with whoever said above that they were probably names to honor people and they just didn't flow well together, unfortunately.

all i have to say is...
"And he shall be Levon
And he shall be a good man
And he shall be Levon
In tradition with the family plan
And he shall be Levon
And he shall be a good man
He shall be Levon"

This. I love that song. And I love that they used it for their kids' name.

agreed! Wish they could have left out Jackson, but all in all, it isn't terrible and using Levon is genius

I find it refreshing that they went with a more regular name. I like Zachary!

It's a clunky name, but I do like Zachary. I'm guessing Jackson was in honor of Michael?

It's a lot of names, but really, besides the 2 dads, not a lot of people will probably be using all 5 names.

I love that they used a normal name like Zachary. I'm overly annoyed when celebs are over the top with their creative non-name names....like Apple and Cocoa and Moon Unit. *eye roll*

How could he not throw Levon in there with him being born on Christmas Day. It made me giggle. I adore how normal the names are, even if they aren't really my style.

They should have just stuck with Levon! I thought that was brilliant.
