I went to school with a couple of girls that were named bryn (and brynn). I think it's cute.

Eh, it's one of those names I think is odd on a girl. To me it's very masculine and very Welsh! It might be a UK thing though - lots of names that seem to be fairly common on girls in the US are still more masculine over here. For example, I've never met a female Ashley, Dylan, Riley, Aubrey or Meredith :)

Yeah, it's definitely a UK thing. One of the first UK friends I made online was a young man named Ashley, and I was kind of blown away because I didn't even know male Ashleys existed! I love Ashley for a boy, to be honest, but I could never get away with it here in the States.
