Lina/Lena?
Dec. 21st, 2010 09:11 pmThere's a student where I work whose name is Lina. I think it's so beautiful but it doesn't sound complete to me. What are some full names that Lina/Lena could be a nickname for? I was thinking of Carolina (prn Care-O-lean-a, not like North/South Carolina) and Catalina, but what other ones might work?
Also my boyfriend and I were walking around the store awhile ago and he overheard a little girl being called by her mom. Her name was Liliana (guessing on the spelling) and he said it was decided, that's what we would call our first girl. I like it, but I'm not sold. Luckily we're not TTC any time soon! What do you think?

Date: 2010-12-22 02:24 am (UTC)Liliana is nice. I prefer just straight Lillian but I'd be open to using Liliana instead, if I had to.

And I think Liliana is beautiful.
