Dec. 16th, 2010 03:27 pmBaby fever may or may not have struck me :)
Naming my daughter was painful. I wish I didn't stress like I did about it, but it felt like there was OMG PRESSURE TO PICK THE PERFECT NAME. I'm sure everyone feels that way, but my husband and I are likely too picky, and we know way too many people and aren't into "stealing" names (even if it isn't really stealing, we just can't get over naming a child the same name as someone we know.
So, here's my short list. I can say that these are liked for first or middle names, half my husband probably doesn't like, and the other half we probably know people named that. Our daughter's name is Liliana Marie (Lily), though she likely would have been Grace if our last name didn't contain all of those letters in nearly the same order plus only two extra vowels. While it'd have sounded fine, written out it looks ridiculous. Anyway, the short list...
Boy:
Robin
James
Jonathan
Girl:
Amelia
Adeline
Miriam
Yeah, not a lot to go on there. I feel like when I reach the end of the internet and I still want to waste time and I browse baby name websites I'm still not coming up with anything I think I'd like. Anything you're willing to throw at me, I'd love to see!
