[identity profile] biancasablancas.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
Hello, new to this group! Fairly new to LJ actually. I'm a good ten years off being pregnant (still a teenager) but I love names. I posted this, but deleted it off someone else's post as it wasn't relevant, but here are some of my favourite names:

-GENERAL NAMES-

BOY
Julian, Oliver, Harry, Elliott.

GIRL
Julia, Isolde, Amy, Amelia, Cressida (or Cress for short, my sister's best friend's name), Grace (as a middle name), Abby/Abigail, Lily, Imogen.

-FRENCH NAMES-

BOY
Sebastien, Olivier, Julien

GIRL
Amèlie, Aurélie, Élodie, Camille, Sophie, Isabelle

-JAPANESE NAMES-

BOY
Kaito, Takumi

GIRL
Misaki, Kyoko, Meiko.

What does everyone think?

I love all your "general" boys names, and Imogen is my FAVOURITE girls name. I plan on naming my first daughter Imogen Frances (Frances is a family name).

I've always wondered how Isolde is pronounced. Can you shed some light on the situation?

I met a German woman with the name a few weeks ago on the Metro (she was wearing a nametag so I asked her about it). She says that she goes by EE-suld. she says in other European countries people call her ee-SOLD-ah.
