Soooo weird to see Denali! When I was in the 4th grade, I named one of my porcelain dolls Denali because we were learning about Alaska in school and I really liked the sound of it. I also liked McKinley, Juneau, and Sitka at the time.
Is Latham pronounced Lay-thum?
I'm...not as repulsed by these names as I thought I would be (or perhaps should be). They're kind of neat.
Latham is a real, live name, even if it's not common. Denali I would have to get used to. I'd more see it on a boy. Naming a girl after a mountain skeeves me out in many ways. I really think it's more appropriate for pets.
