I found a gem on Facebook today.

A little boy, maybe 2 years old.

Domaniq

..... :-o

Love the name Dominic, in fact, its my younger brother's name. However, Domaniq makes me want to vomit.

OHohoh! I just had a client...a boy...named Dominique...except his mother mispelled it on his BC and never ever went back and corrected it.

So....his name is legally Dominque (which I insist is pronounced dom-in-Q)

I wonder if she pronounces it like Dominic or Dominique?

Just wondering what the difference would be? I'm French and for me they would be pronounced the same, although Dominic is usually for boys and Dominique for girls.

The male is Dom-i-nick, while the feminine version is Dom-i-neek.

Also, reminds me of a gem I encountered a few years ago: a girl named Qori (Corey).
