For a guy or girl? I know back a few years ago there was a guy on MTVs The Real World and his name was Nehemiah (not sure if it was spelled the same).

I like it though...but I wouldnt use it for my kid because its NMS!

I think it's Nee-uh-my-uh. At least that's how we always pronounced it in Sunday school.

Hate it...if you're going to use a name, then it should be used/pronounced correctly. This "nee-uh-my-uh" is nothing short of an Anglicized butchering of the Hebrew name "Nechemya."

That said...to each their own, of course, and I'm sorry if this came across too strongly, but you did ask for opinions. :-)
