LOL. I'm working on a story with four sisters, all born 1972-1979. I'm looking for some kind of naming theme. I don't want it to be slapyouinthefacestupid but I figure the seventies have to be worthy of something LOL. Parents were pretty middle/lower middle class, fairly conservative so I doubt they would be named after Vietnam provinces. I was thinking something along the lines of songs or trees or something. Any ideas?

Character Outlines

1. Oldest, driven, on third marriage. High end real estate agent. Sophisticated at the cost of her empathy
2. Burned out social worker on temporary disability for a back injury. History of depression/medication, compulsive caretaker; single
3. Mommy; married high school sweetheart, stay at home mom of five; totally absorbed in maintaining the "perfect" family
4.   The baby...beautiful, spoiled; works as an exotic dancer when she is not being "kept" by man

I agree that a conservative family probably wouldn't want to be seen as hippies.

ETA: The baby of the family totally sounds like an Amber to me. =)
