Okay, so we're having a HORRIBLE time even picking out OPTIONS for boy names. The rules are that it must start with a "C" per family tradition and the middle name must be "Ray" per family tradition. I want something uncommon, but not too far out there.

And we have to be careful because the last name will be Johnson (in other words, though I love the name "Misty" for a girl, there is no way I am naming my child Misty Johnson). The kid will also be 1/4th Korean and so apparently the names Charles and Charlie are out of the question for Asian babies. Chris and Carl are already taken by the father and grandfather.

I like Cole, Chase, and Connor. They just don't go with the rest of the name, I don't think.

yeah, the sound ok with Johnson, but with a one-syllable middle name, you probably need a 2-or more syllable first name

I really like Connor. I just saw a comment on another post suggesting it for a girl and I was like God no! It's a strong, manly name!
