[identity profile] soundalike.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
I have 2 sons, Jonah Julian, 5, and Elias Ewan, 2.5, and we're currently ttc again.

If number 3 is a girl, we've chosen the name Caralisse (spelling not final), but I'm having trouble deciding on a middle name.

I'd like to keep the first and middle name alliteration going, and I've narrowed the choices to three:

Caralisse Ciaran (Keer-un)
Caralisse Cameron (or Camryn, but I'm not sure how I feel about this spelling)
Caralisse Cheyenne

Our last name is one syllable.

Thoughts? Thanks!

Ciaran is a male name (one that I love a lot!), so major no on that. What about the feminine version, Ciara? I don't like Cheyenne at all, either, plus it's not really alliteration. So that leaves me with Cameron, which I would prefer to see stay on a boy, but it's okay. It feels kind of quirky with Caralisse, which feels more frilly.

Caralisse Chantal
Caralisse Constance

"Caralisse Cohen
Caralisse Cole
Caralisse Connor
Caralisse Corey"

Connor is a boys name, in fact all of those are, please don't do that to your kid, it's like calling a boy Sue!

You seem to prefer middle names that are two syllables and end in a "uhn" sound.

With that in mind, I thought I'd add some suggestions, though out of the three you've mentioned I do like Caralisse Cameron:

Caralisse Caitlyn
Caralisse Cathleen
Caralisse Christen
Caralisse Colleen
Caralisse Cayden
Caralisse Cailie
Caralisse Cailin
Caralisse Callyn
Caralisse Carine
Caralisse Carlene
Caralisse Carlin
Caralisse Carmen
Caralisse Caron

Other possibilities:

Caralisse Chance
Caralisse Chai
Caralisse Cadence
Caralisse Candice
Caralisse Callie
Caralisse Camilla
Caralisse Capri
Caralisse Charlotte
Caralisse Celeste

How do you pronounce Caralisse? Cara-lease or Cara-lis? Is the Cara part pronounces like Car-ah the vehicle or Care-ah?

Sorry but Caralisse Cheyenne sounds like a dessert to me, something with caramel and spice, and the other ones sound too masculine, just NMS.

How about Caralisse Corinne? Corinne is my cousin's name and I think it's a nice C name.
