Nov. 17th, 2010 09:24 amWhile introducing myself to somebody the other day, he somehow misunderstood my name as: Italy.
I'm not sure how he managed to hear that but later that night I thought, "Oooh, Italy! Could be a pretty name." What do you think?
Also I'm babysitting a little girl named Olive. I wasn't too found of the name at first but it's growing on me. Do you think it's cute?

Date: 2010-11-17 02:00 pm (UTC)It's funny that you mention Olive in the same post, because originally I never liked Olive because it reminded me too much of, well, olives. But then I saw Little Miss Sunshine and it reminds me of Olive in that movie...and recently it's really been growing on me, too. So yes, cute!

Date: 2010-11-17 04:49 pm (UTC)Olive is okay... it's not really for me, but along the same lines (kind of abrupt, word name), I really like Opal.

I was just watching Little Miss Sunshine; the girl on there is named Olive. =)

Date: 2010-11-18 03:04 pm (UTC)My name is Emilie, the french version (Eh-mee-lee). A long way from Italy, anyway, lol! He was like "what an original name." And it really isn't, so I was SO confused until I realized he heard Italy.
