Nov. 17th, 2010 01:36 ama friend of mine announced on fb that he's going to be a daddy in a couple months. he said it's a girl and they're naming her, Bailey Lee. i like Bailey ok (i kno a lil girl named this) but i prefer Baylee for a girl and Bailey for a boy. Lee is fine as a middle name, if it's got meaning (a lot of ppl in my family have the middle name Lee), otherwise i think it's more of a filler middle name and not given much thought. it's a cute name, i guess, but it's not my style because it's too much of the "lee" sound repeating imo. sooo wdyt?

Date: 2010-11-17 08:37 am (UTC)I had a stuffed cow named Bailey, so now all I can think of is cows (or dogs) and farms. =/ Even with out that association, I don't like it. What else...? I prefer it on boys and find Baylee weird looking (I've never seen it irl).
I like Lee (Leigh for girls).

Date: 2010-11-17 02:03 pm (UTC)In addition to that, I agree that Bailey Lee is super repetitive.

Date: 2010-11-17 08:41 pm (UTC)Even something like Bailey LeAnn would be better, because it changes the stress of the "Lee" sound in the middle name.
