Lily and Lottie
Jul. 21st, 2006 10:12 pmTwo posts in a row? Does that make me a post whore? ::ducks from the blow of the resounding "YES"::
Are Lottie and Lily too similar for nicknames for twin girls? Part of my ideal family is a set of twin girls and thats what I'm planning on while picking out my names. I've kind of set on Charlotte for the youngest of the two because I love the nickname Little Lottie. At the same time, I'm falling in love with Lillian the more I see it, which would be Lily as a NN. The names themselves are different enough that it wouldn't be a problem, and the nicknames would only be a family thing, as I plan on having them go by Lillian and Charlotte with else. But is Lily/Lottie just too much?

Date: 2006-07-23 11:23 pm (UTC)I really love Lily, but I hate Charlotte/Lottie.
The only thing is that Lilly and Lottie sounds like 'Lillian Lottie', so one name rather than two individual names. So call the first one Lottie.. then it will be Lottie & Lilly. lol
