Nov. 7th, 2010 09:14 pmToday I encountered a new male-name-used-as-a-female-name:
Murphy.
The girl was probably around 16 years old.
I'm not too sure about this one...what are your thoughts?

Date: 2010-11-08 10:19 am (UTC)Everyone groaned and my mom, as the rabble-rouser, said "Murphy is a terrible name, to me, murphy sounds like something bad, like a pile of crap! You only have one boys name, that's Liam."
This girl and everyone else laughed and now on their unit whenever they have a patient who needs to be cleaned because of feces they call it a "Murphy", not in front of patients or anything but just to themselves.
The girl had a baby girl yesterday.
