Like Joey or Joy?

I love the name Joy and since it's a middle name I don't mind the spelling too much.

Joi is the name of a TV channel in Italy :P
I'm by no means a fan of altered spellings, but this would be subtle, so it's fine for a middle name.

I like it. I had a friend named Melinda Joy and always thought that was pretty.

i'm a lin instead of a lynn for kinda the same reason.

i would prefer joy over joi, but its a nice middle name.

I like Joy. I don't see why you can't have a y ending on both the first and middle names.

I know middle names aren't used *that* often. However, I have more issues with people trying to correct my middle name spelling than my first name. My MN is Jae (like Jay) and people keep trying to put an N in there...like I forgot it.

I'm not a huge fan of the spelling but if the first name ends in Y then it might be 'rhymy' anyway??

What is the first name?

I understand. I think if the name is longer then it probably wouldn't sound to rhymy. I think if you like it use it, people don't really see the middle name that much anyway (or at least see it spelled out) other than on medical records and things like that!

The spelling is really ugly to my eyes.

the spelling is a bit ridiculous to me but I do love the name Joy so... eh it's a middle name but yeah you'll need to correct the spelling over and over (though this is kind of whatever to me... I recognize the name as Joy so, I think you're good)

I don't like the spelling. The name is Joy. If I didn't like the way a name was spelled, I would choose a different name.

Even knowing what it is supposed to be, it almost looks...idk, incomplete? Like someone forgot to write the rest of the name.

I loathe the name Joy. I think it is one of those ironic names that every person I've ever met named Joy has been absolutely not joyful, and usually just a downright awful person. To me, that particular spelling just makes it even worse.

I think of it like the name Grace (and how Graces are usually ungraceful), just kind of tempting fate.

I've never come across Joi, but I love Joy. So much, in fact, that my younger daughter is called Morgan Joy :-)

It looks silly-weird, imo. =/
I'm not a fan of the name Joy in general.

I like it. Of course, the only Joy I've ever known spelled it "Joi", so I guess it looks more normal to me than to others.
