Hi! I'm new to the comm and not so new to LJ - this is a new journal, I'm back after about three years away from the internet.

Just thought I'd post my brand new sibset, even though the boys are three now: My daughter is Isabel, and the twins are Evan and Luke (called Lucky).

Hope to talk to more you soon! I'm looking to make new friends since I'm basically starting from scratch!

ETA: The boys were prem, and Evan came home before Lucky. We had a couple of... close calls. He's got this spirit, though, he wasn't going out without a fight! The nurses nicknamed him Lucky, and it stuck! Just for those of you who might be wondering WHY we call the poor thing Lucky instead of a more usual name, haha.

Love the names, especially Evan which is one of my favourites. Lucky just makes me think of either Lucan or Luciano, a gambling Lord who killed the nanny or a gangster ... so I'm not so keen on that :D

I actually really like the NN Lucky for Luke. When I was a kid, one of the soap operas my mom would watch had a kid on there that was Luke/Lucky. It's cute, imo, and a good story too. Good names for a sibset.

i like your names! :] i really like the name isabel, but i prefer to spell it isabelle. evan and luke is a really nice twin-set, and i like how compatible his nickname is with his given name

Well, it's mostly from the nurses. They called him Lucky cos his name is Luke, and it fit with the situation. If I'd named him something different, I suppose they'd have come up with something that fit that name!

Love these names! I love the nickname Lucky for Luke. Was it actually derived from Luke, or is it just a coincidence that they are similar? Well, I love it either way. :)

Half derived from Luke, half from the situation he was in. Blame the nurses - I don't think I'm that creative!

My uncle-in-law was actually named Lucky. He had many wives/affairs, and many more children - we joke that he was very "lucky"

But I do like the nickname, especially with the story that comes with it. :)
