I was just wondering....is there ONE name out there that you love more than ANY other----but you KNOW you wont ever use it? Various reasons cause this...it doesn't sound right with your last name, or it already belongs to a friends child, etc.

For me, I have a few. Ive always loved the names Sunny and Penelope for a girl. I KNOW I wont ever use either though. My last name ends with a -ee sound, so Sunny is out of the question. Penelope is just too....SOMETHING for my taste.

As for boys...I have always loved the name Ethan. But I refuse to use a top ten name :)

Yeah, but its not bad sounding with my last name as Sunny. I guess because Sunny is just SUN-NEE. Penelope has a lot more going on, so it doesnt sound as bad with my last name. Its too much for me though.

I love the name Angelica (that spelling doesn't look right all of sudden for some reason) but would never use it, mainly because of the Rugrats show.


I love the name Dominic but I can't bring myself to add it to my list so I doubt I could actually name a kid that. I have absolutely no idea why.

Dominic is another one I love but I wont ever use. For a couple reasons. A close friend has a son named that, and secondly, I really hate that Dom guy from Lost *lol*

I love the name Polly (not Pollyanna, mind you, just "Polly") but since my name is Hayley people would always associate it with Hayley Mills doing Pollyanna. :(

I'm the same, Ethan is probably a no no unfortunatly.
I've said this before but my undying hatred of the name Stacey means i can't use Anastasia.
Also, i do hold a secret passion for the name Indiana, but then it's a state & i think place names are silly.
