Parents name their child Boo!

I was reading the NY Daily News this morning when I came across this article and thought of the baby names community:

They named their girl Boo! with the exclamation point and all.

That's my mom's nickname for my son. Like from Monsters, Inc. Yea, sweet nickname, uncool actual name. Those parents need to be hit on the head with a shovel.

I was shocked that they even allow exclamation points on birth certificates! what next? question marks and asterisks?

I don't think Boo is THAT bad, but the exclamation point is odd. I'd definitely leave it off if I were her and I were writing job applications or applying to college.

My husband's nickname is Boo. He was born 10/30 :)
