the husband and I really like the nn
Suzie.
We don't like Susan though. What other names could we use the nn Suzie?
Thanks!

Susannah was my first thought too. I like Suzie on it's own though.

Suzie doesn't really age that well, though.

My aunt, age approx. 45, is named Susie, so it seems normal to me.

My Aunt is in her late 60's and she's been called Susie since the day she was born. (Carol Sue)
My great grandma died when she was 96 and her legal name was Susie Sarah, went by Susie all her life.
Because of the associations, it seems like it ages fine to me.

I think Susannah is the nicest option. I love the nn Susie too.
*Flashbacks to the episode of Seinfeld where Elaine gets called Susie. Haha.*

One of my favorite customers at work was named Suzelle, Elle for short. I think Suzie would be just as nice :)
