So towards the end of the day while I was subbing I was talking with two fifth grade boys and they ended up giving me name some name suggestions for my future children. Here's what they came up:

Tom and Jerry (for twins and the strange thing is my husband would actually be for this)

SpongeBob
Patrick
Sandy
Squidward (not sure how to spell that)

Melina (after learning that my name is Melinda)
Dusty (after learning that my husband is Dustin)

I wouldn't use any of those names (I do like Thomas, but I have named Thomas), but it did get me thinking that I am subbing while I'm pregnant it would be interesting to get name suggestions from students. BTW these students were David and Jurdon.

Aw! It's a nice name, it just doesn't really fit him.

I actually worked for a family last year and if their third child was a boy they were going to name him Dustin.

I think it is way cute! I am really attached to it because I used it in a story, and I love the character :) Sadly, my hubs doesn't care for it much :/

Heh. I'm amused by the Spongebob suggestions...and Patrick is a great name! Sandy is decent, albeit dated.

Kids come up with some treasures. I'm a teacher, and I was bombarded with names throughout my pregnancy. Some of the best (worst?) ones included:

Quinn (our surname is Quinn)
Jojo
Manny (Manny Quinn, geddit?)
Most of their names, even the girls (and they knew I was having a boy, mind you...)
