Baby #2

Our second child is due on May 31, 2011. I've had a bunch of names that I've been playing around with for a few years. Now that we're expecting again, I've been trying to put together a list so that I can narrow it down, and hopefully I'll get my husband to agree on something in the next few months. Here's what I have so far:

name list

Girls names I love are: Adeline, Charlotte, Eliza, Fiona, Gabriella, Juliet, Katelyn, Lila, Margaret, Marla, Matilda, Nina, Noelle, Paige, Rosaline, Ruby and Violet

Boys names I love are: Chase, Darin, Elliot, Graham, Jacob, Matthew, Nathaniel, Owen, Preston, Reid, and Warren

My one big thing is that I'd rather not have the first name be in the top 75-100 most popular names. As you can see, I do like some popular names, but I'd really only consider those as a middle name.

Our almost 2 year old son is Corbin James.

Any suggestions?

Jacob is number one or two on the most popular list for the past few years, and is insanely popular because of the Twilight books/movies (though i still like it as a name), my husband and I both liked it until we realized the Twilight tie in. :(

I don't have any suggestions though. :D Congrats.

I prefer our names to not even be in the top 1000, lol!! My favorites off your list are Eliza & Ruby. Matilda is cute with the NN Tilly (Thats my grandmas name) But I do feel its a little bit 'old'.

For the boys I think Elliot is pretty popular but Warren Elliot would go well.

I really like Charlotte, Eliza, Fiona, Juliet, Margaret, Matilda, Noelle, Rosaline, Ruby and Violet for girls. Eliza instantly stands out to me for some reason. Eliza and Corbin would be sweet!

For boys, I like Elliot, Graham, Nathaniel, Owen, and Reid. I think Graham and Corbin as a sib-set is my favorite.

I have a distant cousin with the same name as myself. She's older, but my mom DID call her mom and ask if it was ok if she used the name too. She was fine with it, and we see each other once every... maybe 5 or 10 years. So, it's never really been a problem. I don't think it would be for you either!

I think Eliza and Corbin would be wonderful together. Eliza Violet would be really pretty! Matilda and Marla are also really nice and not very popular. Matilda Paige or Matilda Ruby would be very nice. :)

Graham and Warren are my favorites on your boys' list, they would both sound great with Corbin. Graham Nathaniel or Graham Jacob would be nice, and Warren Reid or Warren Elliot!
