babynames | (no subject)

It's fine, but sounds really... common.

I'm in Southern Alabama, and I've never met a Noah. I'm sure is popular in other areas. I plan on using it as a 2nd son's name. (Nicholas Daniel will be the first.)

Last year, Noah was #19/20 (it was a tie) in Alabama. Lucas was #73. I've heard the combo together a LOT, too. Not saying don't use it, but that's just what I thought when I heard it.

Oh, and just for your info, Nicholas was #31, and Daniel was #25. =)

That's a nice idea. =) All of our kid's middle names are family names.

although unless you are going to do all N names it might be weird to only have 2, if that makes sense

I'm thinking about Makayla for a girl. (I realize many people dislike that spelling, but I perfer it over Michaela.)

I hate Michaela so I'm all for Makayla. I have an alternate spelling too (Mikela) but I'm suddenly not liking it so much

I keep thinking one of my "country" relatives would pronounce it Michael-ah. A friend of mine didn't use Wyatt because none of her family could say it right.

She said they were saying it like two words. They really separated the wy and att.

I LOVE Noah. I don't like Lucas, but the name flows well together and it's not bad, just NMS.

it's nice and they sound good together, except I don't really like the name Lucas.
Luke is SO much nicer in my opinion. Lucas makes me think of mucus.

I've thought of the mucus thing, but I still love Lucas.

I think it has a very nice ring to it. I like Noah and Lucas is actually one of the names we are considering if we have a boy.
